Financials Audit Reports

We have been looking over the audit reports for BN/HR/PA/PR to see who changed what and when, but have had trouble finding corresponding reports in the finance area. We are most interested in CB/AR/AM/GL. I saw some posts stating that the financial audits are not so good unless you are running Lawson Security and Portal.

Base Currency is Foreign Currency
I am in the process of setting up a company in Lawson with a Base currency of Brazilian Reals. This will be my first venture into setting up a company with a base currency other than USD. Does anyone have any thoughts on setup or issues that may arise in processing AR or AP in this company. Any thoughts are appreciated. Read More...

Smart Notification of PA52
With MSS our supervisors will be entering personnel actions pending that will flow to the PA52. We would like this to trigger a smart notification with all the information that has been entered to the indirect supervisor. I can only get it to pull the header information (name, action, effective date) and the indirect supervisor code. It see the new information fields as repeats, combines them all together, and the field stays blank. How to I solve this issue? Read More...

Autoprovision new Lawson Users

We are in the process of identifying the best way to auto-provision new users to Lawson LS Security, and de-provision roles when transfers/terminations occur. We are ldap bound, and would like to utilize either PFI or an ldap provisioning tool (CA/FIM/etc).How have others resolved this issue?  What tools did you use? Read More...
