Par to Par Transfers... Possible???
OK, perhaps this is the dumbest question ever asked on this site but here it goes. I am being asked how we can easily transfer items (mainly at night) from par to par locations and have it tracked in the system. I have said the only way is to credit and then reissue. But I have been told I am wrong and there must be a way because all systems are equipped for this. If there is a way can someone enlighten me or offer some ways others have dealt with this???? Read More...
PO Corrections and Encumbrances  
Why are funds still encumbered after a PO has been closed? How do I correct a PO that has already been paid-not just the funding? There are three errors I have come across that need to be corrected. In one instance, the incorrect PO was paid, so it will involve correcting two POs. Secondly, an expense line was paid instead of a PO, so I would like to correct the PO to reflect payment from it. Last, a payment was made from a PO, but it should have been an expense line. Read More...
Tips to using PR86
I am testing PR86 and see my check numbers on the PR162 and that's about it. I understand this process is a void and reissue so nothing needs to be recalculated via a PR140 and the check does not get fed to the PR917, however, what about the check print itself? I noticed the check numbers do not appear on my PR180. I'm hoping someone can share their process so I can get this approved for use. Read More...
