How to call UNIX script from tokendef
We're migrating from UNIX platform to Windows, and have tons of UNIX scripts. I can run the shell scripts from LID prompt just like on UNIX after running initluu. However, when I define the script in tokendef, it will not run. Does anyone know how to make UNIX script to run with tokendef? Read more
AR Zero or Negative Payment
We are currently working on a project in which a customer has the ability to pay their invoices via credit card. On some occasions, the amount of credits could be the same or exceed the amount of invoices, resulting in a zero dollar payment or a negative payment. In the Lawson EFT world (AR115), Lawson creates a debit memo to offset the amount of the negative payment and then interjects a zero dollar payment into the payment table. Has anyone had to create a similar situation and if so, how do you get around the zero or negative payment?  Read more
Applying Patches/Updates
We have been on Infor Lawson for a little over a year now. We have been applying application patches on an as needed basis. I'm looking to be a little more proactive than our current approach with the end goal of being current. Does anyone have any suggestions? Any feedback is appreciated. Read more
CIMS (Wavemark) RFID Inventory mgmt system
We are exploring the use of a RFID inventory management system, Cardinal CIMS (formerly Wavemark), with Lawson for our Heart and Vascular areas. It will require four interfaces; Item Master (outbound), Requisition (inbound), PO (outbound), and On Hand (inbound for managing on hand quantity in inventory). Anyone have experience interfacing with CIMS/Wavemark or any other inventory system? Any advice or issues we should keep in mind?  Read more
