We're migrating from UNIX platform to Windows, and have tons of UNIX scripts. I can run the shell scripts from LID prompt just like on UNIX after running initluu. However, when I define the script in tokendef, it will not run. Does anyone know how to make UNIX script to run with tokendef? Read more

We are currently working on a project in which a customer has the ability to pay their invoices via credit card. On some occasions, the amount of credits could be the same or exceed the amount of invoices, resulting in a zero dollar payment or a negative payment. In the Lawson EFT world (AR115), Lawson creates a debit memo to offset the amount of the negative payment and then interjects a zero dollar payment into the payment table. Has anyone had to create a similar situation and if so, how do you get around the zero or negative payment?  Read more

We have been on Infor Lawson for a little over a year now. We have been applying application patches on an as needed basis. We are exploring the use of a RFID inventory management system, Cardinal CIMS (formerly Wavemark), with Lawson for our Heart and Vascular areas. It will require four interfaces; Item Master (outbound), Requisition (inbound), PO (outbound), and On Hand (inbound for managing on hand quantity in inventory). Anyone have experience interfacing with CIMS/Wavemark or any other inventory system? Any advice or issues we should keep in mind?  Read more
